The accommodation was well-maintained and spotlessly clean. Everything in the caravan worked perfectly, including the new electrical devices and the reliable Wi-Fi. The site itself was small and quiet, nestled in the beautiful countryside. It was the perfect base for exploring both the north and south coasts of Cornwall, as well as other key locations in the county. The nearby village had a fantastic pub, 'The Old Inn', which served excellent food. the cleanliness, functionality, and peaceful location were the best aspects of my stay.
The car park at the site was quite small, requiring careful parking to ensure fairness to other guests. Additionally, while there were numerous roads leading to the village, they all required cautious navigation.

We had a fantastic weekend getaway! The owners, Julie and Steve, were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us great tips on places to visit and the best routes to get there. The accommodation had everything we needed, it was comfortable and spotlessly clean. And the location was just perfect! It was tucked away in a beautiful and peaceful area, yet still conveniently close to all the surrounding attractions. Plus, being able to easily walk to the local pub and village shop was a huge advantage.
The narrow country lanes that you have to navigate to get anywhere. It can be a bit nerve-wracking for less confident drivers.

Great value for money, the caravan was superb and the grounds were well kept with ample parking. The location was peaceful and relaxing, set on Bodmin Moor, and the staff were delightful and always available to provide helpful tips and assistance.
Hotel breakfast could be improved with a wider variety of options.

We had a fantastic Easter break at this cozy holiday spot. The chalet provided everything we needed - great heating, hot water, and a lovely shower. The kitchen area was convenient and the lounge was super comfortable. We also loved the peaceful courtyard with its beautiful shrubs and flowers. The village shop and pub were within walking distance, which made it really convenient. the owners Julie and Steve were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home.
One thing to note is that the country lanes leading to the location were quite narrow, which might be a challenge for nervous drivers. However, having a car was essential for exploring the surrounding areas.

We had a fantastic time at Rivermead Holidays! the site is small and quiet, perfect for a peaceful getaway. the location is ideal for exploring both the North and South coasts of Cornwall. the nearby village amenities, including a great pub and convenience store, were very convenient. the cleanliness of the caravan was outstanding, and it was well equipped and very comfortable.
Our only complaint is that the specific caravan we stayed in was not up to the same standard as the others on the site. It could definitely benefit from being replaced by a newer model.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. the hosts were friendly and laid back, allowing for a relaxed stay. the central location was convenient for exploring the area.
The narrow lanes leading to the site were difficult to navigate, especially for larger vehicles. Without a sat nav or Google maps, it was easy to get confused and take the wrong route.
